Beautiful villa with a gorgeous view, amazing breakfast, wonderful hostess, nice, comfortable room! — Lucia was a marvelous hostess! She made us feel right at home and helped us organize and book our day trip to Capri, our ride to the airport. She treated us like family. The villa was beautiful and authentic. The room was attractive, comfortable, and spacious. Her breakfasts were amazing, and each morning started with a gorgeous view as we ate and sipped our lattes. This is truly a gem- if you go to Sorrento, you have to book your stay at Villa Lorelei!

Far enough to get away from it all but close enough to enjoy civilisation if you're missing it — We were met by Mamy Lucia who instantly made us feel welcome with a glass of Prosecco on arrival. She said "my home is your home". The breakfast was excellent. Each day the table was made up with fruit, fruit juice, croissants, coffee, etc. and nothing was too much trouble. The view of the Mediterranean and the island of Capri is stunning as are the sunsets. The Villa is just a 15 minute bus ride to Sorrento which runs every 20 minutes. The other way is the small town of Massa Lubrense, just 5 minutes (20 minutes if you walk). There is also a small beach nearby which is about a 15 minute walk but be warned, it is all downhill so be prepared for an uphill return, although you can get a ride up for a small fee. Such a friendly atmosphere and certainly felt at home. If you want to relax and get away from it all then this is ideal. The swimming pool is actually a hot tub, so don't expect to be doing the backstroke, but it's perfect for relaxing after a day out or just dipping in and out on a sunny day.

Bardzo urokliwe miejsce — Obiekt położony w cichej spokojnej okolicy, kilka kilometrów od Sorento. Piękny zadbany ogród, z którego rozciąga sie niesamowity widok na wyspę Capri. Można podziwiać piękny zachód słońca. Pokój czyściutki, urządzony w stulu retro, co nam się bardzo podobało. Personel bardzo uprzejmy, dostaliśmy mnóstwo wskazówek jak dostać się do Sorento a dalej na Capri. Przepyszna kawa, śniadania bardzo smaczne ze świeżych produktów. Jedynie czego nam brakowało to do śniadania np pomidorków czy sera. Poza tym wszystko na TAK

Das Frühstück war hervorragend und abwechslungsreich. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber mit einem wundervollen Blick auf die Insel Capri. Eine große und gepflegte Außenanlage. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundliche und hilfsbereit.

Mamy Lucia is the most amazing host, loving, caring, welcoming. The villa has breathtaking seaview and is comfortable, clean and easily accessible. The kitchen place and breakfast variety is just perfect and extremely delicious. If we go to Sorrento again, we will surely stay at this place!

La bellissima casa con vista su Capri, la veranda della colazione ed il giardino, la compagnia degli animali domestici. Camera bella e letto molto confortevole. La colazione eccezionale e ogni giorno diversa.

Torneremo! — Ottima esperienza grazie al clima familiare e autentico che Lucia riesce a trasmettere agli ospiti. Abbiamo anche cenato lì gustando una tipica cena di cucina tradizionale preparata davanti a noi tra una chiacchiera e l’altra. Il plus è la presenza simpatica dei gattini e del cane Totò.

Lieu et hôte exceptionnels — Nous avons tout aimé à la villa Lorelei. Le cadre est magnifique avec une vue exceptionnelle sur Capri. Lucia est une hôte adorable et très chaleureuse qui ne pense qu’au bien être de ses hôtes. Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec des produits frais et des bruscettas ou des pizzas fritte cuites le matin même. On s’est régalés. La chambre Ave d’la terrasse est très confortable.

We really enjoyed our time at Villa Lorelei. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to friends and family. If we were to re — Lovely view from the garden room we stayed in, which had its own seating area outside with views of Capri. The breakfast was very good with lots of options and very filling. If you decide to have an evening meal here you won’t be disappointed, lots of courses of great food. A short walk to the bus stop to get in to Sorrento. Lucia was very friendly and gave advice on where to go and how to get there. We found it very relaxing and the room was perfect for our stay. Can also walk down to the marina where there are a few restaurants and a beach area.

Wir kommen definitiv wieder! — Das Frühstück bei Mama Lucia war traumhaft. Es gab jeden Tag unterschiedliche Eiervarianten, immer einen Teller frisches Obst, Croissants etc. Lucia hat uns einmal selbstgemachte Pasta für uns zubereitet und uns zu einem Pizza-Abend eingeladen. Jeden Tag hat sie uns ein Reiseziel vorgeschlagen mit Tipps für die Umgebung. Mehr Herzlichkeit als Mama Lucia kann man nicht haben.

Im Urlaub wie bei Freunden 🥰 — Unheimlich herzlich und zuvorkommend! Wir haben uns vom ersten bis zum letzten Moment sehr wohl gefühlt. Lucia und ihr Team hat uns lecker Pizza und Pasta gekocht und uns sogar die Wäsche gewaschen. Ihr liebevolle und fürsorgliche Art wird uns noch Lage in Erinnerung bleiben. Das Frühstück war ausgewogen und jeden Tag ein bisschen anders. Wer eine bodenständige Unterkunft mit familiärer Atmosphäre und italienischer Gastfreundschaft sucht ist hier genau richtig. Die Sonnenterrasse war von morgens bis Abends ein Traum und bot einem wunderschönen Ausblick aufs Meer und Capri. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Haupthaus. Dort liegen zwei Zimmer übereinander. Für Geräuschempfindliche Personen empfehle ich das Zimmer im separaten Häuschen. Wir waren ohne Auto unterwegs. Dafür war die Lage wirklich Traumhaft. Der Einstieg zum Wanderweg war direkt vor der Haustüre. Auch die Bushaltestelle war nur wenige Meter entfernt. Wenn wir nochmals in der Gegend sind, würden wir jederzeit wieder dort einkehren. Vielen lieben Dank für alles!

Maravilloso alojamiento!!! Es como sentirse en casa. — Maravilloso alojamiento!!!! Luccia es muy preocupada de cada detalle y te hace sentir como en casa. El desayuno es increíble , muy completo , muy rico!!!! Está muy cerca del centro de Sorrento y uno descansa muchísimo!! Ya que no hay ruidos de ciudad cercanos y el lugar es muy lindo.

Cooking class a must — Mamá Lucia and her staff were charming and helpful. We loved the cooking class where we made pizza dough and then watched another group make raviolis. Then we ate not only what we all made but the most delicious chicken marinated in a lemon garlic and milk marinade. Definitely recommend a class.

Absolutely fantastic! — Lucia is fantastic and made us feel at home from the start. Super friendly and knowledgeable, gave us loads of tips of places to go so we could make the most of the experience. Lovely Toto (Lucia's sweer lab) was very welcoming and gave us loads of cuddles :) Amazing, yummy, freshly home cooked breakfast. Absolutely amazing! Thank you Lucia :)

Erholsames, wunderschönes Erlebnis — Wir wollten einen ruhigen, hübschen Plätzchen, weitab vom Trubel, aber in der Nähe von der Amalfi Küste. Das bietet die Villa Lorelei, weil es klein und gemütlich ist, eingebettet in einer schönen Gartenlandschaft, mit einem tollen Blick auf das Meer. Wir konnten tolle Abende auf unserer Terrasse bei einem Glas Wein genießen . Der Kochkurs von Mamy Lucia war ein Erlebnis. Auch die selbstgemachten Frühstücken mit frischem Obst waren ein Highlight.

Een perfecte plek als je Sorrento en omgeving wilt bezoeken! — Mama Lucia is een echte Italiaanse gastvrouw en zorgt voor een onvergetelijk verblijf. Kamers waren sfeervol, schoon en hebben een goed bed. Het ontbijt wordt op je wensen afgestemd en is tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Je kunt gemakkelijk de bus pakken naar Sorrento. Met de auto is dit lastig ivm parkeren. Wij hebben ook een cooking class gehad en hebben echte ravioli gemaakt. Een aanrader!

Merveilleux séjour! — Mama Lucia mais également l'ensemble des personnes croisées sous ce toit ont été d'une grande gentillesse. Les équipements privés et communs... le jardin... la vue... l'odeur du linge...tout était exceptionnel. Le petit déjeuné issu du potager et du poulailler de la villa était généreux et tellement bon. Aucun doute, c'était fantastique!

It is a beautiful place. Lucia is an amazing person and gave us all the information we needed. It is close to the bus station 10 min from Sorrento and yet very quiet and peaceful. Amazing view and the best break fast we've had. We enjoyed it very much and hopefully we will come back soon

But staying at Villa Lorelei is right up there as one of the absolute highlights. 👌🏼 The villa itself is stunning, peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of charm! it’s Lucia who makes it exceptional. We weren’t just guests, she made us feel like part of her extended family. Every detail was thoughtful, every interaction sincere. Thank you, Lucia, for making our time here so meaningful. La struttura è molto accogliente e anche chi la gestisce! Abbiamo avuto una bellissima stanza con vista Capri e una terrazza privata spaziosa e suggestiva.

Authentic and very warm and welcoming place! — The breakfast is fantastic. There is an open room with a view to Capri, and the breakfast is complete with omelette, fruits, croissants and Italian coffee. One of the best breakfasts I ever had.

A lovely stay with the kindest host we've ever met! — Everything was excellent during our stay! We are so happy that we had the chance to meet Mrs. Lucia, a person who radiates kindness and exudes so much warmth. We truly don't think we could have had a more wonderful host than her. The breakfast was amazing - so tasty, generous, and filling, we could never finish it all. Mrs. Lucia made sure we didn’t miss anything, and even on the day she had to take care of her husband, she still made sure that my sister and I had options for dinner that evening. She also arranged a boat tour for us to visit Capri on one of the days, and everything went perfectly. The rest of the staff who looked after us on other days were also very kind and welcoming. The villa looks like something out of a fairytale, you can tell it was carefully designed, full of beautiful flowers and charming arrangements that catch your eye. And Totto and the little cats filled our hearts with joy, they were absolutely adorable! Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to take part in Mrs. Lucia’s cooking class, but I’m sure it would have been an incredible experience; she is truly an exceptional chef. We wish Mrs. Lucia and her husband good health and continued strength, this kind of business is meant to be run by people like them. As for the location, Massa Lubrense is fine and well connected to Sorrento. The road could be a bit better, as it doesn’t have sidewalks, but even so, my sister and I managed without any major issues. Thank you for a wonderful stay! 🫶

Would go back again, especially for the breakfast. — Amazing stay at Villa Lorelei. Beautiful location with a view of the sea, sunset and the Capri island - a nice place to relax. My favourite part of the stay was the breakfast - the selection was brilliant, the quality of the food was very high and the setting was straight out of a travel book.

Excellent location! Excellent Host!! Excellent Chef!! Mamy Lucia was just exceptional, from the smallest of detail to make your stay as comfortable it could be. She was bang on! Literally felt like home, exactly how mother is, she is just amazing. Very warm, smiling throughout, very helpful, very knowledgeable. Coming again next year, and would stay back with her. Also, the best part about her villa is that the bus stop is right in front of her Villa, so commuting anywhere is not a challenge at all.

UN ACCUEIL COMME ON LES AIME ! — Accueil très chaleureux. On apprécie beaucoup Lucia, "la mama Italienne" qui prend soin de nous. Chiens et chats nous accueillent. Très belle vue sur Capri. Petit déjeuner copieux. Possibilité de prendre des cours de cuisine (excellent). Nous étions en février donc biensûr le jardin hivernait et les décorations d'extérieurs aussi mais il est agréable lors d'un rayon de soleil de se promener dans le jardin, vers le poulailler entourer de ses compagnons à quatre pattes.

Nice hillside location with garden view of ocean and Capri. Short walking distance to road side restaurants and bus stop for short 10 minute ride into Sorrento. Eggs cooked to order with fresh local fruit, yogurt, croissants, bread and preserves with your favorite coffee choice all excellent. Enjoyed the company of the loving yellow lab on the patio. Host was very generous and treated us like family.

The location overlooking Capri and the sunset over the island was magical. The room with a terrace really overlooks the sea, the other room, while being slightly bigger does have a view on the sea, but not on Capri. Lucia is a very kind host, and a treasure trove of knowledge of the area; well worth doing what she proposes. The breakfast is very copious, keeps you going pretty much until dinner. The croissants and brioches especially are very good. Many sights, beaches and hiking possibilities are easily accessible from the property, at least at the beginning of November.

Balcony view was lovely, outdoor jacuzzi very welcome on arrival after a long hot day of travel. Breakfast very good. Room was clean and comfortable good to have a fridge. Bus ok into Sorrento but very busy time and buses very crowded.

Familiäre Einrichtung, sehr gute Lage mit Blick auf Capri und sehr liebevolle Vermieterin. — Die Unterkunft wird sehr liebevoll und familiär von Lucia geführt. Man fühlt sich direkt bei Lucia herzlich willkommen und zu Hause. Wir wurden sehr gut empfangen, es gab sofort sehr viele Informationen über Restaurants, was man am besten in der Gegend unternehmen kann und wie man am besten zum Strand kommt. Frühstück ist jeden Tag ein anderes, sehr liebevoll für die Gäste vorbereitet. Atmosphäre und Aussicht in der Unterkunft ist einfach herrlich. Man blickt direkt auf die Insel Capri. Das Meer ist nach kurzen Fußmarsch zu erreichen. Busverbindung nach Sorrento ist sehr gut, man ist schnell da und kann von Sorrento aus viele weitere Reiseziele mit der Fähre ansteuern. Danke Lucia für deine Freundlichkeit. Wir waren sehr gerne Gäste bei Dir und bei Deiner Familie und haben uns sofort nach Ankunft wie zu Hause gefühlt.

Sehr schöne kleine und familiäre Unterkunft mit nur 2 Zimmern. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und die Betreiberin sehr nett.

Best combination of location, catering and views — This is by far the best accommodation we stayed in on a 2 week trip around Naples and Amalfi Coast areas. Lucia was a warm and welcoming host and made us feel right at home. The room is located on the 2nd floor of Lucia's home, however we had full privacy in the room, key access and were able to enjoy both the private deck attached to the room as well as Lucia's large property anytime. Lucia operates a large-scale kicten beside the house which is where we were provided with a huge and delicious every morning. Conisdering a huge daily breakfast is provided, the price we paid was incredible value and worth every cent (€600 for 4 nights). We were the only people there aside from the many cats and dogs which made for a private and fun trip. There is a bus stop 50 metres down the road and costs less than €2 to get to Sorrento in about 10-15 minutes. For this reason, it is a great location for a private stay while also be close to Sorrento and walking distance to the closest beach. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Villa Lorelei is a once-in-a-lifetime stay with a great view, beautiful kitchen and super friendly staff led by Mama Luc — The property is one of a kind. The view is unbelievable and there is nothing like it.

Given the opportunity to be in that area, we will be back!! — A relaxing place to get away from tourists in Sorrento. Mama Lucia was very, very accommodating. The property was perfect for our trip. Fabulous eating- cooking space. One must take her cooking classes- a very fun evening had by all!! Staff was excellent. Morning breakfast was fresh and amazing.

We had an excellent stay. Lucia is a wonderful person and host, we immediately felt like at home. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was delicious. The sunset view is amazing. The villa is conveniently located, close to a bus stop and a very good restaurant just one minute walking distance.

Best host ever. — Mama Lucia made our trip. From cooking us THE BEST homemade pizza, from offering us two lifts to Sorrento as the buses weren’t running, she was amazing.

The stay at Villa Lorelei was beyond expectations after the fantastic reviews that we read. It was a great base to explore the area, with good bus route links and a nearby trail to the nearest beach. Lucia, herself, was warm and welcoming. On arrival, we had lunch and wine, before recommending local places to visit. We always felt like we were part of a family home and the pets were an absolute bonus. Breakfast was prepared wonderfully and the views of Capri from her beautiful kitchen were a highlight. Couldn’t recommend more highly. Thank you Lucia, family and doggies!

Come stare a casa — Praticamente tutto. Grazie della meravigliosa ospitalità signora Lucia torneremo a trovarla!

Un luogo che ha la propria anima nella padrona di casa — La struttura si regge sulla padrona, la signora Lucia. E’ lei l’anima di tutto, che dalla sua grande cucina, con una certa fatica, cucina, dispone gli arrivi nelle stanze, si prende cura degli ospiti e della sua famiglia. Si entra in una casa, non in un semplice b&b. Tuttavia, la privacy delle camere è assoluta. Le camere sono pulite, abbastanza spaziose, una sicuramente con un bel terrazzino con vista sulla penisola e Capri. Al contrario di tanti B&B, le camere vengono rifatte la mattina, tutti i giorni, come in un hotel. La colazione è varia, ed è servita nella grande cucina sotto un patio in giardino, che è l’anima della struttura. Il parcheggio su strada è abbastanza agevole, ma si consigliano macchine piccole.
