How to get to Villa Lorelei and Sorrento

The complete transport guide, from Naples airport all the way to Massa Lubrense

Villa Lorelei is located in Massa Lubrense, just 10 minutes by bus from central Sorrento. The nearest airport is Naples Capodichino (NAP), approximately 53 km away. Below are all transport options, from most economical to most comfortable.

Curreri Bus from Naples airport (recommended)

The most direct and comfortable option. The Curreri coach departs directly from the airport arrivals area and stops in Sorrento (Piazza Tasso).

If your flight arrives after 19:30, you will need a private transfer or taxi (~€80-100).

Circumvesuviana train (budget)

Take the Alibus from the airport to Naples Garibaldi (€4, 30 min), then the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento.

Campania Express (reserved-seat fast train)

A special train with assigned seats, more comfortable than the regular Circumvesuviana. It also stops at Pompeii Scavi and Herculaneum Scavi.

From Rome

Frecciarossa / Frecciargento train to Naples Centrale (1h10-1h15), then Circumvesuviana or Campania Express to Sorrento (~70 min).

Total: about 2h30 from Roma Termini.

By car

From Naples: A3 Naples-Salerno → exit Castellammare di Stabia → SS145 to Sorrento (~50 min without traffic). From Sorrento to Villa Lorelei: SS145 towards Massa Lubrense, follow the signs for Puolo (~10 min).

Parking at Villa Lorelei: available for guests (let us know on arrival). Alternatively, paid public parking at Marina di Puolo (200 m from the villa).

From Sorrento to Villa Lorelei (SITA bus)

Once in Sorrento, Villa Lorelei is 10 minutes away by bus. SITA bus, line Sorrento - Massa Lubrense, stop "Puolo".
